Recombinant Hepatitis B Surface Antigen, adw subtype (HBsAg-adw)

Background: HBsAg is the surface antigen of the Hepatitis-B-Virus (HBV). The capsid of a virus has different surface protesins from the rest of the virus. The antigen is a protein that binds specifically on one of these surface proteins. It is commonly referred to an the Australian Antigen. HbsAg adw produced Pichia Pastoris, having a moleular weight of approximately 24.0 kDa as shown on SDS-Page.

Applications: 1. Immunochromatography (capture and conjugate). 2. Immunogen for monoclonal antibody production.
