Product Description: E.coli derived recombinant. The protein contains the Hepatitis B Virus HBe immunodominant region.

Purification Method: Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity: Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).

Protein Conc: 1mg/ml, 25mM Tris-HCl pH 8.0, 1.5 M urea and 50% glycerol.

Storage: Protein is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -200C.

Stability: Five years frozen. One month in solution at room temperature

Specificity: Immunoreactive with sera HBV-infected individuals.

Applications: Antigen in ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of HBV with minimal specificity problems.
