Product description: The protein contains the C- terminus of gp120 and most of gp41. The protein is conjugated to a 23 amino acids synthetic peptide derived from gp39 of HIV-II.

Purification method: Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity: Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.

Protein conc: 1 mg/ml, in 100 mM Na-PO4, pH 6 and 0.05% SDS.

Storage: Protein is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -20C.

Stability: Five years frozen. One month in solution at room temperature.

Sfecificity: Immunoreactive with all sera of HIV-I, HIV type O & HIV-II infected individuals.

Applications: Antigen in ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for early detection of HIV seroconvertors with minimal specificity problems.
