Description: The protein contains the full-length sequence of HIV-I core and envelope proteins: Core protein p17 (Matrix protein), Core protein p24 (Core antigen) fused with membrane glycoprotein (gp120) and Transmembrane glycoprotein (gp41).

Purification method: Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity: Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.

Protein conc: 1mg/ml, 20mM PBS pH7.8, 20mM NaCl 0.5M, 1mM DTT and 8M urea.

Storage: Protein is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -200C.

Formulation: 1mg/ml, 20mM PBS pH 6.7, 350mM NaCl, DTT 1mM and 8M urea.

Stability: Five years frozen. One month in solution at room temperature.

Specificity: Immunoreactive with all sera of HIV-I infected individuals.

Application: Antigen in ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for early detection of HIV seroconvertors with minimal specificity problems.
