Description: E.coli derived recombinant protein is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing the HIV Inef immunodominant regions 3-190 amino acid. HIV-1 nef is fused to beta-galactosidase (114kDa) at the N-terminus.

Purification method: Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity: Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% SDS-PAGE (coomassie staining) and HPLC.

Protein conc: 1mg/ml, 8M Urea, 20mM Tris.HCl pH 8.0 and 10mM 2-mercaptoethanol.

Stability: Five years frozen. One month in solution at 4°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.

Specificity: Immunoreactive with all sera of HIV-I infected individuals.

Application: Antigen in ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for early detection of HIV seroconvertors with minimal specificity problems.
