Description: E.coli derived recombinant. The protein contains the gp46 immunodominant regions (162-214/242-257aa).

Purification method: Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity: Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.

Protein conc: 1 mg/ml containing 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 4.5, 100mM Sodium Phosphate, 8M urea.

Storage: Protein is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -200C.

Stability: Five years frozen. One month in solution at room temperature.

Applications: Use as an antigen in ELISA and Western Blots. Excellent reagent for correct detection of HTLV infections, with minimal specificity problems.
