Description: The protein contains the full-length HTLV-I major core protein p24.

Purification method: Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity: Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.

Protein conc: 1.0 mg/ml, in 50 mM Na-PO4. pH 6.0, containing 1 mM DTT and 1 mM EDTA.

Storage: Protein is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -20C.

Stability: Five years frozen. One month in solution at room temperature.

Sfecificity: Immunoreactive with all sera of HTLV-I infected individuals.

Applications: Antigen in ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for early detection of HIV seroconvertors with minimal specificity problems.
