Description

Recombinant Human Fragile Histidine Triad (FHIT)

Source: E.Coli

Background: Cleaves A-5\\\'-PPP-5\\\'A to yield AMP and ADP. Possible tumor suppressor for specific tissues Alterations and deletions of the FHIT (Fragile Histidine Triad) gene are strongly linked to the genesis and establishment of human tumors of the lung, cervix, breast, colon, stomach, and pancreas. In normal cells, FHIT may act as a tumor suppressor

Description: Recombinant FHIT shows a band at 43kDa on SDS-PAGE commassie blue stained gel. Recombinant FHIT is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
