Description

Human Interleukin-12 is purified from HEK-293 cells to achieve a glycosylated disulfide linked heterodimeric polypeptide with 506 amino acids. It has two subunits, 35 kDa (p35) and 40 kDa (p40) that are disulfide-bonded. Interleukin is an initiator of cell-mediated immunity.
