Recommended storage buffer: 100 µg/mL in 0.4% Sodium carbonate, 0.1% BSA (optional), pH 9.0. Filter-sterilize. Shelf life of 4 weeks.

Amino acids: Ala-Phe-Pro-Thr-Ile (first 5 N-terminal amino acids). Single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain of 192 amino acids.

Protein content: UV spectroscopy at 280 nm, extinction coefficient: 1.18, 1 mg/mL solution. Second analysis by RP-HPLC.

Stability: Stable at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. Reconstituted GHL should be stored at 2-8°C. Prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
