Human Retinol Binding Protein-5 (Recombinant) is purified from E.Coli to achieve a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain with 155 amino acids (1-135) fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at the N-terminus. As a member of the calycin and fatty-acid binding protein families, it carries Retinol from the liver to peripheral tissues.
