Human Trefoil Factor-2 (Recombinant)

Human Trefoil Factor-2 (Recombinant) is purified from E.Coli to achieve a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain with 106 amino acids (24-129) and a 40 amino acid trefoil motif that contains 3 intramolecular disulfide bonds. It is a secretory protein in the gastrointestinal tract and a tumor suppressor gene. Trefoil factor contributes to gastral mucosa differentiation and is involved in intestinal mucosal defense and repair.
