Human Trefoil Factor-3 (Recombinant)

Human Trefoil Factor-3 (Recombinant) is purified from E.Coli to achieve a homodimeric, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain with 118 amino acids and a 40 amino acid trefoil motif that contains 3 intramolecular disulfide bonds. It is a secretory protein in the gastrointestinal tract and a tumor suppressor gene. Trefoil factor-3 induces ciliogenesis and promotes airway epithelial ciliated cell differentiation.
