Recombinant Human Vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1)

Description: VCAM-1 is a cell surface sialoglycoprotein expressed by cytokine activated endothelium. The protein has a number of functions including the regulation of leukocyte migration, leukocyteendothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction and may play a role in a number of inflammatory diseases. Recombinant Human VCAM1 also called CD-106 is expressed in E. coli containing 674 (25-698) fused to an amino terminal hexahistidine tag.

Formulation: Recombinant Human VCAM-1is supplied in 1x Laemmli Buffer (25mM Tris-HCl pH6.8, 50mM DTT, 1%(w/v) SDS, 0.1%(w/v) Bromophenol Blue and 2.5% Glycerol).

Application: Recombinant VCAM1 can be used directly as a positive control in Western blotting, ELISA, immunoprecipitation and other immunological experiments. The biological activity of this product has not yet been tested.

Storage Conditions: Store at 4 C if entire vial will be used within 1-2 weeks. Store, frozen at -20 C for longer periods of time. Please Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Purity: Greater than 95% (SDS-PAGE).
