RAB1A belongs to the ras-related superfamily. Rab proteins have a central part in either in endocytosis or in biosynthetic protein transport. Rab1a protein controls vesicle traffic from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus.

Description

RAB1A produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 225 amino acids (1-205.a.a) and having a molecular mass of 24.8kDa. RAB1A is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation

The RAB1A protein solution (0.5mg/1ml) is formulated in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 0.1M NaCl, 1mM DTT and 20% glycerol.
