RAB6A is a member of the small GTPase superfamily. RAB6A may be involved in protein transport. RAB6A is a regulator of membrane traffic from the Golgi apparatus towards the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and has a low GTPase activity.

Description

RAB6A Human Recombinant fused with a 24 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 232 amino acids (1-208 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 26.1kDa. The RAB6A is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation

The RAB6A solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris buffer (pH 8.0), 10% glycerol, 1mM DTT and 0.1M NaCl.

Stability

RAB6A should be stored desiccated below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
