Description

Applications:

2-Iminobiotin-Separopore® 6B-CL is used for the purification of avidin/streptavidin conjugates. Proteins coupled to streptavidin are more readily recovered in native form from 2-Iminobiotin-Separopore® than the biotin resin. It is also used for removal of free avidin from streptavidin conjugate preparations. Interaction with avidin and streptavidin is pH dependent: forms stable complex above pH 9.5 and dissociates at pH 4.

Note: Separopore® is a cost-effective equivalent to Sepharose® in all of its physical properties and binding characteristics.
