Description

Affinity purified Artocarpus integrifolia Lectin (AIA) is immobilized to Separopore® 4B following CNBr coupling. The final product is stabilized in a buffer to retain maximum activity. Often used for IgA purification.

Cross-linked Separopore (Agarose beads 4%) are used for coupling providing high flow rate and stability of matrix.

Supplied in 20 mM HEPES, pH 7.6, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.1 mM CaCl2, with 20 mM galactose and 20 mM lactose. Sodium azide (0.1% ) is added as bacterial inhibitor.

For the elution of bound glycoprotein our GlycoElute buffer for AIA is recommended: AIA Glycoprotein Eluting Solution, SKU-21511030 having, 0.1 M melibiose or 1 M galactose in 150 mM TRIS, pH 7.6 is recommended.
