Mannose Separopore® 4B-CL (Epoxy-Coupled)

Applications

Mannose-Separopore® 4B-CL is used in protein chromatography, affinity chromatography and carbohydrate matrices. Mannose-Separopore® 4B-CL has been used in studies assessing poly(ADP)-ribosylation of mannose-binding lectin out of human kidney cells and to inform mannose-associated serine protease (MASP) activated components of the coagulation system. Mannose-Separopore® 4B-CL has also been used to study the innate immunity and resistance to Aeromonas salmonicida exhibited by the sea lamprey (Petromyzon marinus), a parasitic cartilaginous fish of the North American Great Lakes and a predator of many bony fish species of commercial importance to the fishing industry. Mannose-Separopore® 4B-CL is used to isolate carbohydrate and mannose-binding proteins such as the lectin, Concanavalin A.

Note: Separopore® is a cost-effective equivalent to Sepharose® in all of its physical properties and binding characteristics.
