Thiamine plays a key role in energy metabolism. In order to measure the levels of thiamine in bodily fluids by in an easy and inexpensive manner without compromising the sensitivity nor selectivity, bioWORLD provides an affinity matrix for Thiamine Binding protein isolation. This allows measurement of Tiamine based on the principle analogous to ELISA, in which a thiamine binding protein (TBP) acts by antibody replacement.
