Description

Antibody purification using thiophilic separopore is a simple and economical alternative to Protein A, the common method of immunoglobulin purification. There are certain types of antibodies, such as the single-chain antibodies IgE, IgY, and IgM, that cannot be purified using Protein A. An alternative antibody purification method, thiophilic affinity chromatography including IgG, IgM, IgA, Fab and Fc fragments. The entire purification is carried and using native (non-denaturing) conditions and they maintains higher biological activity.

Note: Separopore® is a cost-effective equivalent to Sepharose® in all of its physical properties and binding characteristics.

Advantages:

  • Purification at neutral pH
  • Broader selectivity (IgY, IgM, IgE, scAb)
  • Higher linear flow rates
  • High capacity (15-20 mg Ab/ml resin)
  • Reusability
  • Higher activity and stability of the purified product.
