Sypro Orange

Sypro orange is a protein gel electrophoresis stain that is supplied as 5000X concentrate in DMSO, enough for 50 polyacrylamide minigels. It has a high sensitivity and is able to detect 1-2ng of protein per minigel band, more sensitive than Coomassie Brilliant Blue staining. There are no fixatives or destaining steps required.
