Description

Myo-Inositol is a growth factor and structural element of secondary messengers in eukaryotic cells. In plant tissues, it acts as a principal storage form of phosphorus, making it an effective vitamin in plant tissue culture media.

Plant tissue culture grade Myo-Inositol is of >99% purity and thoroughly tested for bacterial contaminants and chemical impurities. When solutions containing Myo-Inositol are cooled, it may fall out of solution as small particulates. This can be fixed by gently heating the solution with slight agitation.

Myo-Inositol is a popular component of many plant tissue culture vitamin mixes. bioWORLD offers everything you need from plant tissue culture media, to vitamins, to culture boxes.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
