Description

Formamide is a liquid amide derived from formic acid that can be used as a cryoprotectant. It is also known to destabilize nucleic acid duplexes, making it an ideal buffer component for the DNA/RNA hybridization and blotting techniques. Formamide has even proven to improve the specificity of PCR sequencing.

This Formamide is provided in a Deionized form for enhanced efficiency in molecular biology applications. It is prepared from ≥99% pure raw materials, guaranteeing the highest quality product for your experiments.

Formamide can be diluted in any of our blotting buffers or hybridization reagents.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
