PBS Buffer without Potassium 10X, pH 7.4

PBS (Phosphate Buffered Saline) has no potassium and has a final concentration of 10X. PBS (10X) contains 1.3M NaCl, 70 mM Na₂HPO₄, 30 mM NaH₂HPO₄, and has a pH of 7.4. PBS is a water-based salt solution that helps maintain a constant pH. It is isotonic and non-toxic to most cells so therefore has many uses, including substance dilution and cell container rinsing.
