Potassium Citrate Buffer 2.5M contains potassium citrate, a potassium salt of citric acid. Potassium citrate has been used as a food preservative. This buffer has been used in a study examining lyophilized pharmaceuticals due to its high Tg’ and low crystallization tendency.
