TE Buffer, pH 8.1, RNase Free

TE (Tris-EDTA) liquid buffer has a pH level of 8.1 and is stored at room temperature. There are no detectable RNase activities in this solution. TE buffer is commonly used for DNA or RNA procedures, such as to solubilize while protecting DNA or RNA from degradation. Treatment with TE enhances the staining intensity of antibodies in the immunohistochemical detection of certain proteins. Prepared using DEPC-treated water. Contains 10mM Tris-HCl and 1mM EDTA.
