Description

Cellulase Onozuka R-10 is produced in Trichaderma viride and is used to isolate protoplasts in plant tissue culture. In combination with Macerozyme R-10, Cellulase is a powerful agent in degrading plant cell walls. This enzyme mixture is also effective at breaking down protease, hellicellulase, pectinase, and alpha-amylase.

One unit of Cellulase is observed to liberate 1 µMole of Glucose from Carboxymethyl Cellulose. This high quality product has been tested for bacterial contaminants as well as chemical impurities, with an activity of >10 U/mg.

bioWORLD carries a pure Macerozyme R-10 as well as a Cellulase Enzyme Solution, 10 mg/mL for all of your plant tissue culture needs.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
