Description

DMSO, or Dimethylsulfoxide, is a polar organic solvent for both organic and inorganic chemicals. It is most often used to solubilize peptides for PCR, NMR spectroscopy, DNA sequencing, affinity chromatography, as well as transformation and transfection protocols. DMSO has even been used as a cryoprotectant in cell freezing media.

Molecular Biology Grade DMSO is further refined for increased effectiveness and to reduce strong odor. BioMax Cell Culture Grade DMSO is even further refined and sterilized for use in cell freezing and other applications.
