Peptone S (Soy Peptone), Papaic Digest of Soybean Meal

Papaic Digest of Soybean Meal is a nutritious plant peptone containing high carbohydrate and vitamin content. Peptone S, or Soy Peptone, provides Nitrogen, vitamins, and minerals to fastidious bacteria and fungi in culture media. It is not recommended for fermentation studies due to its high carbohydrate content.

For best results, use Peptone S along with a suitable buffer. Most cell culture media use Soy Peptone at a concentration of 1-10 g/L . This Peptone S is appropriate for Hydrogen sulfide tests alongside NZ Amine A.
