Tryptic Soy Broth is used for the cultivation of fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms. Tryptic Soy Broth is prepared according to the formula listed as Soybean-Casein Digest Medium in the United States Pharmacopeia. Tryptic Soy Broth has a pH of 7.3 and a working concentration of 30 g/L. Tryptic Soy Broth is also soluble in water.
