Description

ATP Disodium Trihydrate is a central component in metabolism. It provides the necessary energy to drive metabolic pumps, and serves as a coenzyme in a variety of biological reactions. ATP is used in respiration, motility, cell divisions, and a number of other cellular processes.

Interestingly, recent research shows that ATP may be an important regulator of plant cell death, in addition to growth and development. Analogues have been developed to allow for real-time tracking of ATP-cleaving enzymes.

ATP Disodium Trihydrate is of ultra pure grade and >99% purity. bioWORLD offers 10mM and 100mM sterile solutions of ATP for molecular biology use. Our unique ATP Separopre 4B-CL agarose is an excellent tool for the purification of ATP binding proteins.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
